Jamie's Bitchen Kitchen
This food truck that goes by the name of Jamie's Bitchen Kitchen it's not only amazing to look at but has great tasting Cuban food. Out of the dozen or so truck vendors out there for example, barbeque food, pizza and sweets, this one really called to me, perhaps because of all the colors that were used I do not know. Out of the 8 different choices that were available on their menu such as, the Cuban sandwich, a vegetarian wrap, pork with rice and beans, I choice the pulled pork taco, which cost $6.50 for three of them. The taco when given to me was of course in a to go box but had a corn tortilla that was heated up and on top of the that was a nice white cheese that just happened to be melted, the pulled pork (which happened to be spiced perfectly), shredded cabbage,a bit of pico de gallo and was all folded up nicely and ready to be eaten. Once I took a bite into the taco it was very good, it had the crunch of the taco shell, the pork, the melted cheese, the cabbage, and the pico de gallo with each bite have the right balance of flavors. I would absolutely recommend this food truck to someone that was interested in this type of food and tell them to bring extra money because you are going to want to try a lot more than just the tacos.
The truck was brightly covered and had a huge pink flamingo that was just such attention getter and maybe that's why I chose it but it was a good choice. I think that when you have a truck it should have some kind of theme and paint instead of just plain white those that are white seem to fade into the back round and those that pop with color get picked first. It was a simple little truck and now has the the reputation of producing great food. The food was good and the service was great, go out and get you some food from Jamie's Bitchen Kitchen.
